We have a problem here with some staff skipping answering questions in the Past Medical History at time of a new booking. The tick remains green so some are assuming that they do not have to revisit. I have stressed the importance of this as new questions may have been added into Euroking since the last pregnancy and others are required to be answered for the current booking e.g. smear testing. I found out last week that medical terms have always been classed as 'patient' level information, and therefore they track forward automatically into the subsequent pregnancies. New installations of the Euroking MIS now have them set at 'Pregnancy' level so they do not track forward so this forces a full review each time.
We are currently using version 1.7 - does this mean that we need to wait until 1.8 is implemented before we can have this facility?
Hi Deborah, I think everyone has that problem but, i don't believe that the 1.8 solution wouold resolve your issue. I could be wrong and Alistair could confirm this, the change in 1.8 would only apply the the questoins within the work flow so, they can still skip the Past Medical History and go strainght into the Current one. However, if you ask for a new questoin at the end of Past Medical history of Name of midwife confirming details with a date or something similar. Ensure it is not linked and this will stop you from having a green tick. This means they will have to go in and confirm the data entered. We have added a few unlinked questions at Cardiff and it works on all of our records.
Hello Deborah. We have problems in every workflow with staff skipping over pre answered questions, it is the bane of my lift when pulling stats. Anything that would stop this from occurring would be greatly appreciated and reduce the amount of incomplete workflows, that do appear complete!
