Can we please request that locked records could be opened as read only.

1. We have a significant number of associated health professionals accessing the Euroking digital record who require read only access

2. We are introducing community offline and will therefore have a significant number of records locked while offline.

3. We are introducing an increasing number of workflows and require timely real time data entry for telephone contacts

The combination of these factors are increasing the number of occasions when access is required but the record locked. Enabling the record to be read only whilst locked would relieve this issue

Just for information as we don't have the Community facility, if you had WiFi access and have referred a woman in to the hospital, is there a facility to contact to WiFi and upload that woman's record immediately?

FOr users who truly are read only this seems very sensible.

Read only will help all the allied health professionals; dieticians, med secretary, safe guarding, physios, path lab. Etc etc who have read only access now but can't view the record as another staff member in the record
This is not a fix for the offline more a generic viewing for associate professionals to view the digital record

The problem with 'Read only' is that often these ladies actually need care in the hospital at that time. They are on the tablets due to being seen by the Community MIdwife, and this can result in being sent into the hospital. The midwife cannot upload the records yet due to no internet access. She cannot delete the lady off the tablet as the record has not been uploaded. The ladies will not be seen simultaniously in the community and in the hospital. So 'read only' has no added benefit. The other caregivers need to be able to work within the record.

I think this would be an excellent idea.
