I have been asked by our Governance Midwife to submit this idea as we have had a few instances of staff having more than one record open on Euroking and then details have been entered onto the incorrect record. Whilst it could be argued that staff should be more vigilant, and we are communicating this to them, it would be very useful to have such a prompt. It had also been suggested that it there should be a function in the system that prevented multiple records being open at the same time. however, it was felt that a prompt would be more flexible.
