I have spent a huge amount of time producing this report with much appreciated help from Euroking users. Many Thanks to you all
The tables are rather ambiguous and therefore a Euroking produced report would not only save time per trust, but also ensure high quality data as well as consistency of data extraction across Euroking users.
Totally agree Charlotte - would be good to have a Euroking report that all Euroking users could have available
In my experience of the CQC (which feels quite extensive) they ask for a myriad of reports, but generally along the same themes, I'm sure if everyone makes a note of what they are asked to produce, there will be some significant commonality in the list, which Euroking could then develop into the standard reports. There are a lot of users that are required to produce statistics without any 'soft' IT support i.e. not everyone is an excel wizz and at the moment a CQC request lands the need for enhanced 'soft' IT skills suddenly climbs and is largely not accessible. This would also identify gaps in patient level recording where CQC consistently ask for measuring data but which we can't respond to due to not capturing that level of activity. For example, there are always questions about women transferred in from home or community following delivery, a lot of Trusts don't capture the times of events for these patients or the reason for the transfer in. A transfer in for PPH should see a much faster turnaround than a transfer in for something relatively non-urgent, but without categorising data and times, this is difficult to measure.
